Women's Guild is sponsoring a Community Fun Day at Bob Evans restaurant on October 14 (Thursday) to support St. Mark's Church. This is an ALL day from 6 a.m to 9 p.m. We will earn 15% of sales when you present the special flyer when paying. Watch for fliers in the Church bulletins. Come for breakfast, lunch & dinner!! 50/50 tickets will be sold from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. the day of the event. Also you can purchase Bob Evans gift cards through the Scrip Program at church to use on this day.
5th ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
September 18, 2010
The Annual St. Mark Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday September 18 at Glenview Country Club. Check in for Registered Golfers starts at 12:30 pm. Shotgun start at 2:00pm; Best Ball Scramble; $1,800. cash prize awards; Handicapped Flights. (Use GHIN Handicap or average Executive Course score as available).
Golfer Registration will continue at all week-end Masses through September 11th and 12th. Registration fees: Golf only $50.00; Golf and Dinner $80.00; Dinner Only $30.00. Golf Banquet will be the following day, September 19, held in the Parish Hall catered by Vic Embers. Cash bar available. Doors open at 5:30pm

Retreat Sponsored by the Women's Guild

On September 9 the Women’s Guild will sponsor a retreat at the San Pedro Spiritual Development Center. The San Pedro Center is located on 480 beautiful acres on Lake Howell in Winter Park.
The cost is $30 which includes round trip bus service, coffee & donuts upon arrival in the morn-ing at San Pedro, lunch & an afternoon beverage.
The retreat will be given by Deacon Bob Esposito.

On August 25th, 2010 Fr George completed his 1st and 2nd degree in the Knights of Columbus. He will now assume the role as Chaplain of our Council. Pictured above were all the Knights who were there to be part of this very special occasion.

We are preparing to begin our 2010-2011 R.C.I.A. Program
This program is designed for:
Adults who have never been Baptized, and who are interested
in becoming Catholics
Those who are Baptized into another denomination and have
an interest in becoming Catholic
Those who are Catholic and have not received Holy Communion
and /or Confirmation
We meet for weekly sessions from mid October to May to present
basic information about the Catholic Church, its teaching and its
beliefs.
