Friday, May 13 is the Memorial of Our Lady of Fatima. It is a day when the Blessed Mother asks us to draw closer to her Immaculate Heart. The US Catholic Conference of Bishops have also asked that this day be devoted to Fasting and Prayer for the end of abortion. In recent days, it has been announced that the US Supreme Court may overturn the tragic Roe v. Wade abortion decision of 1973 which has led to untold millions of young lives being killed. Our bishops are encouraging us to spiritually join this fight for life and offer up some personal penance as well as pray the Rosary.
