As much as it changes many things we do as Catholics, we do live in a time when we can depend upon technology to assist us in our prayer life. During this time when the church building is not available to the public, St. Mark will use our web presence to stay in touch with you and communicate as much as possible.
Keep in mind that this is "new ground" that we're treading - there are no manuals to tell us the best directions at this time. So, as we continue through the coming days, consider this an opportunity to regroup with your family and friends on phones and with video conferencing. We are all in the same "ark," we just can't be physically present to one another.
We will update the website on a regular basis - more than you've seen in the past since the bulletin is now unavailable. We'll consider publishing as much as possible to provide you with one place to find everything you need to remain connected.
I'm sure we'll all remember this Lenten Season, a time when Christ was truly removed from our physical sight...a time when we need to depend on our spiritual sight and faith, just as Christ did in the desert before He began His journey to Redemption.
Won't it be a glorious day when we can return to Mass and the St. Mark community? We are certainly being molded into people of great faith!
