The Money Counters are responsible for counting all Mass collections and goodwill offerings. We assist the office staff in processing the collections and readying the monies to be deposited to the bank. We also prepare the parishioner Offertory envelopes for the office staff to enter into the parish data base for tracking parishioner contributions.
All volunteers for this ministry are required to complete the online Diocese Safe Environment Training and be fingerprinted. Experience in using a calculator and attention to detail are important. We normally meet on Monday mornings by 8:45 AM. The task takes about 2 – 2 1/2 hrs. Usually volunteers work only once or twice each month.
