Next week (February 3) is the Feast of St. Blaise. It is a day when we traditionally have a Blessing of Throats and ask St. Blaise for healing and protection from viruses that are prevalent especially during these winter months. This year St. Mark will extend the period of blessing as Blessing of Throats will take place not only on Thursday, February 3 after the 8:00 AM Mass, but also at all weekend Masses on February 5-6. We hope you will take advantage of this extra opportunity to be blessed.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place Wednesday, February 2 at 10:00 AM, for the repose of the soul of Beatrice Dubois, who was born May 18, 1940 in Eagle Lake, Maine. Fr. Rafal will be the celebrant.
A funeral Mass will be offered Friday, February 4, 2022 for Nedino Merino who was born June 6, 1935 in New York City. Mass will be at 10:00 AM and celebrated by Father Rafal.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the farewell reception (which was to be held in the Social Hall following all Masses) for Fr. Dominik has been cancelled for this weekend. FYI--Sunday's 10 AM Mass will still be streamed tomorrow (Jan 23). The 8 AM Mass will NOT be streamed.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 26 at 10:00 AM for Anne Schlick, who was born February 2, 1934 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She passed on January 17, 2022.
A Memorial Mass will be offered for Michael G. Henry who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 59. Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
This upcoming weekend, January 8 and 9, is the special collection for seminarians in the Diocese of Orlando. Your gifts and prayers support our seminarians on their spiritual journey to priesthood.
On Saturday, January 15 members of the parish are traveling to St. Augustine for the annual March for Life in Florida. The charted bus will leave the church parking lot at 6:30 AM. We can park cars in the church parking lot farthest away from the church. When you arrive please check in with Maggie Fraser or Mary Hughes. The group is expected to leave St. Augustine at 3:30 PM and be back at St. Mark between 5:30-6:00 PM depending on traffic.
